This is not just a normal set of pattern blocks, these pieces are translucent to give that extra dimension to patterning, sequencing and symmetry. The set consists translucent pieces in 6 shapes, packed in a sturdy storage container. Each side of the pattern blocks measure 2.5cm (for instance – the square measures 2.5 x 2.5cm). Each of the blocks is 1.0cm high. The blocks are hollow with the reverse side open.
The set consists of yellow hexagons, orange squares, green triangles, red trapezoids, white parallelograms and blue rhombuses. Students can use the pattern blocks to create patterns and sequences.
