This set of 250 pieces of pattern blocks is made of Eco-Wood. The edge length 2.5cm and the thickness 0.5cm. Each set includes: 25 yellow hexagons, 25 orange squares, 50 red trapezes, 50 green triangles, 50 blue parallelograms, 50 beige rhombuses. Packed in cardboard box. Pattern blocks are a set of maths manipulatives which can be used for a wide variety of maths activities. Pattern blocks consist of just six shapes, each shape supplied in a fixed colour: green equilateral triangle, blue 60 rhombus, beige 30 narrow rhombus, red trapezoid, yellow hexagon and orange square. The sides of each shape are in relation to one another, and all angles are multiples of 30, which is 1/12 of a full circle. This makes it possible to use the blocks for patterning, fractions, tessellation and much more. Our Eco-Wood range is a fair alternative to plastic. The basic material is ground wood residue from PEFC-certified sustainable forest management as a waste product of wood processing, and a natural binder (also an ecological waste product). The result is an environmentally friendly, pollutants-free, affordable material with a long service life. The use of Eco-Wood is a sensible use of resources, ecological and CO2-neutral.
