The Air Cushion, or Sensory Seat Cushion 60cm, is an inflatable dynamic balloon that can be used on the floor to strengthen lower body muscles and to train for balance as well. One side of the cushion is bump-studded while the other side is more gently textured to provide users with a multiple sensations to enhance the sense of touch and coordination.

Air filled sensory seat cushions can be a valuable tool in the classroom, allowing children to sit comfortably. These sensory seats help to stimulate sensory awareness, to aid children to moderate their movement and focus on the task at hand. Air cushions also enhance stomach and back muscles, further developing core strength and ‘active sitting’.
