Students can use this set of colourful connecting tiles to create a complete Periodic Table; and experiment with compounds of different elements! This set is perfect for interactive and exciting activities, and makes learning about the Periodic Table fun! Each tile measures 2.5 x 2.5 cm, and includes the Atomic Number, Atomic Symbol, Atomic Weight, and the ring Electron Configuration for each element.

The set comes with a total of 163 tiles, with 10 different colours which are used to sort element groups based on shared chemical and physical properties.

These spare tiles are common elements that can be clicked together to make various compounds, and help to teach students about how basic things like water and salt are formed on a molecular level; and look at the differences between similar compounds like carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide.

Because the shape of the tiles allows for each tile to have up to 4 other tiles clipped onto it, you can even use these to start discussing how compounds join together – which ones are in a straight line and which ones have angles, and why? The plastic tiles easily snap together to form a complete puzzle. These pieces are made of hard, heavy-duty plastic and are suitable for regular use by students.
