Fantails are a collection of book-banded books. They have carefully controlled levels according to a student's reading age. Each collection of books is set at foundation, emergent, early or fluency levels and can be used alongside other popular reading schemes. Books in the Lilac Band are wordless books that tell stories or give information through pictures. These books will help children explore and develop the vocabulary and language patterns of stories as well as begin to discuss characters and suggest how the story might end. Children may move between Lilac and Pink band books as you address different aspects of early reading. Includes 8 books at each band, 16 pages. Both fiction and non-fiction strands are available. Ages 3+.
