A set of 1000 base ten units, made from Eco-Wood. Each cube measures 1cm3 and can be used as additional cubes for your base ten sets, or just on their own as maths counting cubes. Base ten units represent the value 1 and measure 1 x 1 x 1cm.
Our Eco-Wood range is a fair alternative to plastic. The basic material is ground wood residue from PEFC-certified sustainable forest management as a waste product of wood processing, and a natural binder (also an ecological waste product). RE-Wood® is a WPC material (wood – plastic – compound) that consists of 80% wood (spruce) and 20% plastic (recycled polypropylene). The material can be mixed with colours (masterbatch).
