‘Dot and Kangaroo’ is an Australian Children's Classic about a small girl lost in the bush and befriended by a kangaroo. Originally by Ethel Pedley, this version has been adapted for younger readers.

The story has been broken into chapters, each with a set of comprehension questions testing whether a chapter has been read or understood. These questions are primarily multiple-choice and true/false questions. Answers are included.

Peter Howard is an ex-primary school principal and author of many widely used school teaching aids and text books.

Graeme Wilson is a much travelled former high school deputy who has used these experiences to write both geography and social science text books.
