The Design & Play STEAM Set allows children to create and customise real-working boats for a fun-filled introduction to early STEAM concepts! Ideal for integrating STEM with arts & crafts. Each kit includes materials for 10 children to engineer their own vehicle. Children just use the pre cut pieces to build each boat, and customise it with their craft materials (not included). Then put it into action! As students test their creations, they’ll explore ways to fine-tune each vehicle until they have a boat that sails!

Each set is supplied with a teacher’s guide and the materials needed to create 10 working vehicles. Children create wind-powered sailboats with 10 foam hulls, 60 sails, 40 dowels & 30 foam blocks. Boat hulls are 15cm.
