This optical glass lens demonstrates refraction of light. This bi-concave lens has a diameter of5.0 cm with a focal length of 10 cm. A concave lens has a thinner centre than the edges. It is a diverging lens, meaning that it spreads out light rays that have been refracted through it. The image formed is smaller than the original image. Concave lenses are less commonly used than convex lenses. They are used in glasses to correct vision, and also in torches to spread out the beam of light so it covers a much wider area. The lens is made of optically worked glass, with ground edges, highly polished.

Each product is carefully designed by a team of laboratory professionals and experienced engineers with quality and durability in mind. They are manufactured with only the highest grade, raw materials and according to international quality standards to ensure that they can withstand use in even the toughest laboratory environments.
